The Stranding Team at the Virginia Aquarium works tirelessly to preserve our native wildlife. They rescue injured or sick animals, rehabilitate them and then reintroduce them back into their natural habitats; all while performing countless hours of research, educating the public and inspiring the community along the way. From dolphins and sea turtles to skunks and snakes, they are a great ally for all of Virginia Beach’s native critters.
