On an ocean kayak adventure in Virginia Beach, you never know what you’re going to see. That’s what makes them so exciting. Bell, of Chesapeake, Virginia, witnessed this first hand. While on a leisurely paddle in Sandbridge, a baby humpback whale leaped out of the water and breached within yards of his kayak. Lucky for us, John DeVan was there to capture this one in a lifetime shot from the deck of his vacation house.
